Home Theater Installation in New Jersey

Cinema-quality audio and video in your home — designed, installed, and calibrated by licensed AV professionals.

What We Do

Professional Home Theater Installation for NJ Homes & Businesses

A dedicated home theater is one of the most rewarding spaces you can add to your home — and one of the most technical to get right. Netinstall designs and installs custom home theater systems in New Jersey that deliver true cinema quality: accurate sound staging, calibrated picture, and a room that actually looks and feels like a theater.

We work on both dedicated rooms and media room conversions — whether you have a blank basement ready to build out or a finished room you want to upgrade. Our team handles everything from the initial room analysis (acoustics, dimensions, viewing distance calculations) through display and speaker selection, cable routing, rack installation, and final calibration. We use professional-grade measurement tools and calibration software to tune your system to the room, not to showroom floor specs.

Brands we commonly work with include Sony, Samsung, Epson, JVC, Sonos, Klipsch, SVS, and Denon. We don't limit you to one brand or manufacturer — we source what's right for your room, your budget, and how you plan to use the space. We're based in South Amboy and have installed theaters throughout New Jersey and the surrounding Middlesex County area.

FAQ

Common Questions

Can you work with an existing TV or projector?
Yes, frequently. We can integrate your existing display or projector into a new or upgraded audio system, run new cabling, mount or relocate the screen, and handle all the surrounding components. If your existing gear is outdated, we'll give you an honest recommendation — but we never push you to replace what's working.
Do you do acoustic treatment?
We do acoustic consultation and can install panels and bass traps that we source or that you source yourself. A properly treated room makes a dramatically bigger difference to sound quality than almost any equipment upgrade. We'll take room measurements and show you where treatment will have the most impact.
How do you hide wires in a finished room?
We route cables through walls using fishing techniques, existing chases, and low-voltage mud rings. In concrete or block walls, we use surface-mount conduit painted to match. For speaker wire to ceiling-mounted Atmos speakers, we route through attic space where accessible. We never leave exposed cables on a finished installation.
What's a realistic budget for a dedicated theater room?
A well-built dedicated theater starts around $8,000–$12,000 for equipment and installation (projector, screen, 5.1 speakers, receiver, seating-level wiring). A high-end build with Dolby Atmos, 4K laser projection, acoustic treatment, and full control system can reach $25,000–$50,000+. We scope every project to your budget and give you a clear breakdown before we start.
How long does a home theater installation take?
A media room upgrade (new display, soundbar-to-surround upgrade, wire concealment) typically takes one day. A full dedicated theater build takes two to four days, including rough-in, drywall closure, trim-out, and calibration. We give you a specific timeline estimate during your consultation.
